long comment found here

Note to self, bring birth certificate/passport for trip to MICHIGAN! Who'd a thunk.

Okay, now I am eating at Gretchens because you have a cooker all built in. If Gordon needs help I will be there, or he can just relax and I will do. Whatever. I am glad I will be going to your place so I too can ssee Mel's "babies" I have never met any of Sandy and Robs grandkids!

BB- I dont like Nakomis! It was a "pinkie" swear for god's sake get over it! This is not elementary school. Hell, it's not even high school for Dianes stupid crush on Drew! I like the twins, but I now want Marvin to win it ALL. Adam has liked Marvin from the beginning.

AR - Colin is a complete ifiot he and the Christian Model girl should be a pair because they're both worthless. I thought Chip was going to smack her when they were talking about the money. The police were way too nice to Colin, maybe because there were cameras in their faces.

Red and Orange - I am thoroughly counting on some fall color. I havent had any since I moved out here, we always come back in summer or winter. So you better bottle some of it and save it for me.

Kathy is coming out this weekend, would someone please be kind enough to send back some BBQ fritos, as I have now (well, before Megan left actually) finished the 6 bags Gretchen sent out.

LLWS - It killed me to see the Washington kid hit the home run so that neither of the playing teams got to go. Not that it matters who went Thousand Oaks will beat them all!

Adam is going camping next weekend with the Millers and Weissbergs. It is not at all like the camps I remeber of old. They have an arcade, a pool, a washer and dryer, http://lilacoaks.com/default.htm

Oh, well, time to go pick Mel up from work.

Renovating and Trading tramps

I just saw a promo for a new show called Renovate My Life. It is like the Extreme Home Makeover on ABC but on FOX. What drew my attention to it was that the first family to be renovated is the first family from trade my mommy. It is the black family that was involved. I really liked tham, I hope they do right by them with a new home. As for tramps, I love the new gymnastic (new as of Sydney) game of trampoline. That is really fun to watch.

templates

Each computer type views templates differently. I work on a MAC all week and come home to a PC. The template I currently have has my profile info at the top opn the MAC and at the bottom on the PC. So in the interests of what I like better I am going back to my old template "Harbor" just cuz I like it better and you guys dont really need to look at my picture, Im not changing.

Cant think of a catchy title

Diane is a freak! SHe cant decide which side she wants to be on. I think she and her twin may be playing together because she changes her mindset each show! Nicholas Nickleby getting HOH means A and Nat will be up next week. Maybe she will try her 6 finger plan to get one of them for sure. I am voting for cowboy to be on Y and R only because I think he is the ONLY one there without an ulterior motive to be a star. No time to watch the Olympics tonight have to get some sleep sometime. Night!

Bolsa Chica

That is where we are going the next time Michigan people are here. It is a great stretch of ocean with big fire pits. We went today with a bunch of friends from baseball. One of whoms sister lives right down the street and saved the pit for us early in the morning. (And has offered to do so anytime we want) It is about 50 miles from here in Huntington Beach. It is Bolsa CHica State Beach if you want to look it up anywhere.

The COoking Channel

Let it be known that I will cook Thanksgiving dinner where ever and whenever anyone wants it. Kathy, if you want I can make it the day before I leave and that way you will have leftovers for dinner on Thanksgiving. Although I am certain that if the girls put their minds to it, they can do a wonderful job without killing each other in the process. Mom and I are leaving for a casino bus trip the day after Thanksgiving, so it wouldnt be feasible to go anywhere but if mom will have you, so will I. Or I will just cook for mom and I and send the leftovers elsewhere. Either way I will get to see Jackson and have promised Kathy to home a jar of Jackson Juice. Marisa thinks he will fit in my carry on. Worth a shot!

picture album

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/adriennevh/album?.dir=/edd3&.src=phThis is the Yahoo picture album from San Diego. I will do Cleveland tomorrow. I tried to write them to a cd for Gretchen but of course there is something wrong with my writer. I will try to get one done before Melody goes back there for a visit.

home again, home again, jiggety jig

We rolled into the house (a wonderfully clean house, thank you Ris) about midnight last night. Just got up watched a little world series action (mom are you watching this year?). Going to Costco and then will post tonight or tomorrow (I have taken the rest of the week off of work to recover from this weekend) with a try at posting pictures.

Adam

I don't know how many of you have tried to pump information out of an exhausted 14 year old boy before, but it aint easy. The team walked off the bus looking like zombies, they had not slept the night before, too much adrenaline I am sure. On our drive home to his bed, I got a call from a co-worker offering me free Dodger tickets and parking, as I was going to decline because of exhaustion this person ion the back seat woke right up and insisted that we go pick up Melody and go. Good thing we did because parking was right next to the entrance. Our seats were irectly behind home plate, and the DOdgers played a great game. So throughout the night he spit and spouted tiny bits of information about the trip. I will post those when I am home at a PC and can do so with formatting.

Amazing Big Spouses

Due to a glitch in my ability to not only remember to set up a VCR but to also explain to someone over the phone how to do it, we missed all 3 shows last night. SO be fruitful in your comments so we can enjoy through you.

Can you dig it?

GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD!

Adam called me a little while ago and let me know they went undefeated and will receive the Gold medal at the closing ceremonies tonight. I have just landed back on Earth (but have yet to stop crying) so it took me some time to get this post up. Erika very nicely sent me training on pictures so as soon as I get some they will be up.

Results of earlier games are in

http://www.childrens-games.org/results_frame.html?event=baseball_boys.html

You can go to the website and get updates on the games.

We found out last night that the team was supposed to be on Good Morning America today but I have not been able to watch it here at work. But I have set it up to tape at home.

As soon as Adam calls me I will update everyone.

Number one seed

The boys got to play today and play they did. They beat the S. Korea team 18 to 0. ANd also beat the Newar NJ team (I don't know the score.) So they are at this time the #1 seed. According to Adam they are guaranteed the Bronze, if they win one game tomorrow they will get Silver and if they win both games tomorrow they get Gold. So all in all a very good time is being had. The Rock N ROll Hall of Fame was a bust even the old guy (coach Steve my age) said it wasnt worth the time or admission price of $20.
