Old Grandma

Caitlyn: I need a new grandma!

Me: Huh? What? Why?

Caitlyn: You're too old

Me: I am not too old,

Caitlyn: You don't watch Wubb Gurls with me

Me: Huh? I just watched that 10 seconds ago.

Caitlyn: (with an exasperated sigh) You took a nap!

Me : (I had just worked 10 hours coming off of 3 hours sleep) I was tired.

Caitlyn: No, you are old!

Later that evening when she came to give me hugs and kisses goodnight (my favorite part of the evening btw)

Me: No, I think you should go hug your new young grandma.

Caitlyn: (taking my face in her hands) I LOVE old grandmas!
