Cruisers 9 - White Nights

The nights here are very cool. Instead of calling the 21st the longest day of the year they called it the shortest night of the year. I don’t see that there was any night at all. We were up playing karaoke so I stepped out at midnight and took a picture of the sunset. It barely goes below the horizon before it rises back up again. In St. Petersburg they were preparing for a festival to celebrate the students graduating from high school. We noticed they were setting up fireworks on the river, and we are wondering how they work. At home we wait until it is dark than we set them off, what do they do here? There is no dark. Adrienne says that we will be getting some fireworks in Copenhagen so we will report back on how they look in the white night.
