Opening Statement

I am traveling today, so I leave you with this eloquent opening statement from Congressman Thadeus McCotter representing Michigan's 11th District. Please give yourself 8 and a half minutes to listen.

  1. He presents a well reasoned case in a mild manner. He is right on target when he says the CAFE standards imposed a huge burden on the Auto Industry. Yet, he did not suggest ameliorating them.

The two pilars arguement is new to to me. When did this start?

He never mentions the wage differential as part of the problem. I still feel that when Obama gets in he will see that a baillout is done.

    Thanks for sending.
