Direct Buy

A friend of mine has been re-doing her house lately and got quotes from a couple different contractors. Both quotes were WAY out of her price range. She and her husband went to Direct Buy in Palo Alto and priced everything themselves and it was so much cheaper it was ridiculous.

I realize we are in a recession and all, but gouging people is not acceptable. My friends are trying to stimulate the economy by doing what we are supposed to do, spend our money, put it back into the economy and here these idiot's are trying to shiv them.

Come on people, if we don't work together on this it just won't work at all!
