babies

My baby is 18 today! I can hardly believe we made it. I say we because there were times when I didn't know if she or I were going to make it through some days. But we did and she is a beuatiful and wonderful woman. Wow! A woman, ok let's try lady, yeah lady sounds much better. Of course I'm sure we'll have our moments but now it is all up to her. Her decisions, her choices. But I will be there to back her up 100% with a smile on my face. Of course that is only because I had the best teacher. Thanks mom! I want to take this chance to thank all of my wonderful family. It has always been said that it takes a village to raise a family, and in my case it was definately true. Thank you everyone for all the help through all the years, I know I didn't always make the right decisions or the right choices but you were all there supporting me and backing me up whether you liked it or not. And together look at what we accomplished! I couldn't have done it without you. I love you all!

  1. The good news is I have internet access at work. The bad news is they don't condone crying at the front desk.

    Double Ditto.

  2. The good news is that I have internet access at home. The better news is that I can cry anytime I want to. With these birthdays coming on both sides of Karl's anniversary, I've been doing that a lot.

  3. Well, I am glad I got this at home and not at work or I would be crying there. This is a wonderful post; we too think that Marisa is wonderful and you did a great job. I speak for all of us, although I probably had the least to do with it, when I say we are glad we could help.

  4. I posted this in the early morning before anyone arrived at work but was still crying when they started trickling in and have been emotional all day. But its noce to work with people who know why and understand.

  5. Now that these kids are grown and making their own choices and decisions your main role as mom is to bring it to their attention whenever you see them sitting with their index finger pushing on their noses. Make them stop.
