A'la Aunt Nancy

I made a HUGE roast this evening with the intention of feeding alot of people. It ended up only being the four of us so there were alot of leftovers. What to do with so much left over roast and potatoes and carrots? Make real pate chinois! Lunch all week! YUMMY! Now if only I could find the recipe for the croutons Aunt Nancy makes...

  1. And it was very yummy roast indeed, but I think that Adrienne secretly cheered when I had two biscuits (200 calories each). No fair.

  5. pate chinoise is spelled correctly to the best of my knowledge. I never learned parisian french. There should be a couple of diacritical marks.

  6. adding the e to chinois was my mistake. That acutally makes it a feminine pate and changes the pronunciation.

  8. When you cook it all together to start with the carrots taste just like the potatoes. I was very impressed with myself for eating all my carrots! I have never even tasted one before.
